Cancelled or Rescheduled
If an event is cancelled, refunds will be issued at the original point of purchase. If the event is rescheduled, the original tickets will be honored for the new date. In some cases, refunds will also be available up until the new date.
Children Tickets (Discounts)
For majority of the events, children two years of age and older are required to have a ticket to gain entrance to Payne Arena. On specific family shows, children discounts are available with age restrictions varying by event. Please check the event’s ticket policies at the point of purchase.
Credit Card Verification Policy
For safety and security reasons, only the actual credit card holder with a valid ID may purchase tickets by credit card. State Farm Hidalgo Arena and its official ticket outlets use a credit card verification system that only allows tickets to be printed and mailed to the person to whose name, address, and phone number match that supplied by the actual credit card’s issuing bank.
Lost / Stolen Tickets & Tickets Not Received In Mail
If tickets are lost or stolen, or not received by mail, you should immediately contact the original point of purchase to inform them of the loss. Lost tickets are similar to lost cash, and lost seat passes will not be issued unless ownership of a seat is not guaranteed. If a ticket purchase can be confirmed, the box office will replace the ticket with a pass that will only be at will-call on the day to the purchaser.
Refunds
There are no refunds or exchanges for tickets purchased. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, tickets will be refunded at the original point of purchase.
Ticket Mailing Process
Tickets purchased over the phone or via internet can be mailed directly to the purchaser if there is sufficient time before the event for the tickets to safely travel through postal system. As a general rule, tickets purchased within 10 days of an event, will be left at the Payne Arena Box Office will-call window for pick up the night of the event. Tickets purchased more than 10 days prior to the event can be mailed via standard U.S. Postal System delivery to the credit card holder’s billing address. Please allow at least 7-10 business days for delivery.
For tickets not received by mail after standard time, please contact the point of purchase location. Lost ticket passes may be issued for tickets not received by mail.
Thermal Tickets
As a security measure, tickets printed for the Payne Arena events are printed on thermal paper. The writing on the face of the ticket is burned onto the ticket surface rather than printed. Tickets stored in car glove boxes, dashboards, or in places of extreme heat may cause tickets to turn black and become unreadable. This can happen even if left in the envelope. If this occurs, Payne Arena Box Office may not be able to issue lost ticket passes if the original seats cannot be determined. Tickets should be returned to the point of purchase to determine if they can be replaced.
Will- Call Tickets / VIP Passes
Tickets purchased less than 10 days prior to an event or tickets left by someone will be available for pick up at the will-call window at the Payne Arena Box Office.
A picture ID and confirmation number or credit card used to purchase the tickets are required to pick up tickets.
Will-Call tickets purchased through Ticketmaster by phone or via internet are available for pick up immediately after purchase up until 2 hours of the day of show.
Tickets or passes left by touring personnel usually arrive at the box office approximately an hour before the event start time. Unfortunately, the Payne Arena Box Office personnel have no way of knowing who is to receive tour personnel tickets until they are received at the box office.
Patrons may also leave tickets at will-call window; however Payne Arena cannot and will not accept any responsibility for unclaimed tickets.
Tickets will be released only to the person whose name appears on the ticket envelope.
Backstage Passes
Backstage passes can never be purchased. These passes are supplied by touring personnel only. Backstage passes are very limited and usually only provided by radio stations, fan clubs, or artist management. Many radio stations hold contests to win the backstage passes to meet your favorite star. Also, several artists take time after their show to meet the members of the fan clubs. Payne Arena personnel cannot give or sell backstage passes to patrons or give out tour personnel information.
